Four Girls Died on Paper

At a ghat in Kashi, a film star’s death draws NIA officer Rudra and Priyom into a case whose trail runs far beyond the city. It leads towards Karachi, forgotten records and four girls living in Sindh in 1947, on the eve of Partition.

Their stories seem separated by decades and a border. As the investigation deepens, those distances begin to collapse. Set amid Kashi’s temple lanes and the upheaval of Sindh, this novel follows a present-day mystery into the lives of women who were almost written out of history.
